method of payment

Hey everyone so I might be closing my first deal as an assignment so since its my first deal I really don't know what form of payment is best for me considering I'm young and don't have any tax deductions.

Actually, having an LLC or not doesn't affect these deductions. An LLC is a pass through entity for taxes, unless you elect to be taxed as a S or C corporation. But you're correct, Sherry, that you can deduct the expenses you incur in running your business.
