How to evict a paying tenant

Cody Godfrey
Posted

My wife and I just bought our first triplex with an FHA loan. We are currently living at the property and quickly realizing the one tenant is trouble.. I believe they were quickly put into the unit before the property hit the market to make it more appealing..

We learned he’s been telling the mail person and the ups person that our other tenants no loaner reside at the address and their unit is vacant (this is not the case) my wife caught him in the act of telling ups the unit was vacate one day and he lied right to my face saying he didn’t. Long story short, he pushed off good tenants who are moving now because of him.

Furthermore, he CONSTANTLY creeping on my wife and I and always peeping out his windows to see what we’re doing. I can stand how nosy he is and he’s all around a trouble tenant. Is there a way to get rid of them even though they’re paying rent on time every month?

Thanks in advance.
