Hey BP, does anyone on here have any recommendations for an attorney that works mostly with real estate investors and a good title company in the Fort Worth TX area?

@Cody Brookes thanks for posting.  Always great to hear from a fellow Texan. Bigger Pockets does have a very active "Texas" forum too if you ever want to post things like this in there.  I can certainly recommend a title company but your attorney question will be strongly based on WHAT TYPE of an attorney you need.  If you need one to litigate...that will be a totally separate attorney than one that just drafts legal documents for you.

Now, for title companies the best title company I know of is McKnight Title  http://www.mcknighttitle.com/  I have personally been working with Anna there for many years.  However, McKnight Title recently hired Mary Martinez, who is VERY versed on investment property transactions.  However, if I can be completely honest here, Mary was always so busy because of her knowledge of investment properties.  It was sometimes difficult to reach her.  So McKnight gave her a team when they hired her.  Since then, she has been much more accessible in my opinion.  The other reason why I like McKnight is that they are owned by Scott McKnight...who is an attorney!  And he has helped me directly on several transactions.  He is the type of an attorney that can draft real estate and note documents and help you with legal issues on the TITLE of a property...so if you need a different type of an attorney just let us know.  But they are the title company that has my strongest recommendation.

Hope this helps!
