Hello BP community ,
I am transitioning from buying rentals to flipping down in Florida. I would like to get connected with a good CPA that can help any recommendations?

Are you looking for a CPA just for the credentials or tax purposes? Bookkeepers can also help with maintaining your books as an investor. I am a virtual bookkeeper and can help with any bookkeeping in that area. Please feel free to reach out for a free consultation, if you are interested.

Jeremy,
Reach out to @Nicholas Aiola or @Ahad Ali
They are in New York with you.
Good luck.

Your profile mentions that you are an agent.
The holy grail from a tax perspective is an agent with rentals who is eligible to claim real estate professional status.
This is something to discuss with your CPA.
Doing activities in Florida won't impact your state tax obligations since Florida does not have a state income tax.
I would still suggest speaking with a NY CPA as the NYS tax laws are complex.
