LLC/ EIN order/information

Hey friends! I'm looking at applying for a business credit card and setting up tax ID information. I'm just starting out in real estate investing and I'm looking for my first deal right now. I don't want to register as an LLC right off the bat. If I apply for my EIN as a sole proprietor am I able to switch the EIN on to an LLC in the future or will I need to file for a new EIN. Hopefully this isn't a dumb question and the answer isn't glaringly obvious! Thanks in advance!
