Looking to partner with someone

Hi,

I know this is a stretch but I'm reaching out. I'm looking to partner with someone experienced to purchase a multi unit apartment complex. Most likely in CT just so We can meet face to face and discuss options. I've been searching for deals and analyzing every deal possible. Some have worked out very nice on paper. The main thing I'm lacking is the huge down payment. That's the reason why I'd like to partner with someone. If anyone is interested and in my same predicament. Please pm me so we can make this work. 50% profit is better than 0% profit.

Thank you!

Tony Velez

@Tony Velez - with no experience and not much cash, what is the incentive for someone to partner with you?  And why would you want someone "in the same predicament"? That sounds like a recipe for problems. Do you have free time to find and evaluate deals, perform due diligence and manage an apartment complex?

Not criticizing - just pointing out that you need to bring something to the table - what is it you have?  And you need to find partners who don't have what you can provide and do have what you lack.

Maybe you need to start smaller.  Flip a house. Buy a small multifamily (2-4 units) and house-hack. Build savings, cash flow, experience, capital and some appreciation and build up to where you have the track record and some capital to bring to the equation.
