Fence around the pool with alarms on all doors leading to the pool

Anything else?

Talk to your insurance broker.  Typically they won't cover slides or diving boards.  You'll also want to ensure the pool has an anti-suction drain.

I liked to have a high level of liability coverage with a pool. I owned two for several years and never had any problems.

From an operational perspective, I included the cost of regular pool service in my rent.   If you have a pool company checking ever week or two, you ensure the pool won't turn into a green slimy cesspool and it will preserve the life of your asset.
