online services for tenant applicants screening fee?

We have noticed that most applicants these days want to pay the $40 screening/application fee online. previously we were taking checks and cash, but now a days they want to do it online.

Besides PayPal, what other services are there to transfer small amount of money? i am not talking about "erentpayment" which would require them to set up an account..

Exactly - use a payment method that people are already actively using (and has a growing market). Easy.

If your market's younger professionals, it seems they are all already using this site to pay their friends etc. So adding you to their list is a matter of just sending them your link/profile or they can even do a search for you if you're already on it.

that's actually the best one for me. people can sign on with FB, which most people have anyway. i knew about venmo, i just forgot about how simple it is.

i kind of want a service where people dont have to create a special account just to send us $40 one time (assuming they dont get the house).

I think google wallet will work if they already have a google account. that's free and they can send $40 through their email as well.

I hate to inconvenience people by telling them "go to cozy (or erentpayment), create an account that you are never, ever going to use and pay the screening fee".

The online service that I have used has a work around that allows the tenant to pay on their site. Maybe this will work for you. Here is a link to their faq's with info on it.
