What type of white paint do you use?

Is there a specific white you use   Anitque, bright, etc, semi gloss, eggshell, satic.  And why do you use this color/tint on your rental?

We purchased a $500 sprayer from Lowes - best investment we ever made.

I can paint an entire apartment (3 bedroom) in a few hours.  I use a 2nd person to backroll behind me.  I prefer to spray only when there is no carpet as it is hard to cover it all up.  Thus, all I need to do is tape off the windows.

That's from their blurb on that site. I've been in the house several hours for several days now, all windows and doors open. I have had some symptoms for several days that are probably reactions to the paint, similar to what I had when doing my ceiling. They are still fewer and much less severe than what I would have with standard paint.

With your info, I can feel comfortable in using other paint, too.

My house was just painted with  ICI Lifemaster 2000 - The first solvent free, no VOC, low-odor interior latex paints. Ideal for hospitals, schools, hotels/motels, nursing homes and office environments where a highly washable and stain resistant finish is needed.

I'm very chemically sensitive and was able to be in the house the next day with no negative reactions/no odors. I will be using that myself for all my painting needs from now on. 
It looks good-the color used was cottage white (the original color of the hosue). the walls were eggshell, the doors were versaglo sheen. 
This is for sale, and it looks good. 
Apparently the contractor price is good, as his was the lowest bid by about $500.

When I move from my residence, it too will be painted with this paint.

Haven't  quite finished it yet James, waiting for the general contractor to finish trim in the last two rooms and working around the homeowners schedule and stuff for final t/u of completed rooms, been doing some smaller jobs in between. I'll call you this week, I should have some time toward the end of the week.

James, spoken like a true pro! Tried that Super Spec for the first time for the ceilings on this 7800 sq. ft home I'm doing and have never had as many problems with a flatpaint in my life! Tempted to respray all  ceilings.By the way going on 10 yrs. with my Graco 695 and 6 yrs. with my Speedflo! Two best pumps I have  :D

Antique white set off by white trim really looks good.  I like it enough that I'm using it for my new primary residence.

I buy the cheap paint from Lowes, mainly because it's closer than Walmart or Sears.

For your Walls get Benjamin Moore Super Spec.......thank me later.  For around $80.00 you can get a 5-gallon container and it has excellent coverage and is easy to work with.  I could never use any of the stuff from Lowes or Sears.  Yes, I have owned a painting company for some time now and believe me when I say the other stuff is garbage.   Make sure you get the "Super Spec" grade.  It's not as low grade as Benjamin Moore's "Super Hide", or as expensive as Benjamin Moore's "Regal" line.  It's in between and what all the "Pro's" use.  Even on our own houses.  For the price you can't go wrong.

Also, to expound a little, get yourself an 18" Roller for walls and you'll never use a 9" roller again.  You'll finish in less than half the time.

Practice Cutting in with a 2 1/2" Angled brush, a good one (Like a Purdy XL Glide)  they're only $14 but will last you years if you clean it good.  Once you cut in a few rooms with that brush, you will NEVER use blue tape again, you'll be able to free cut any line you want.  Hope this helps!

Sherwin Williams Antique White (has a yellow cast to it) and Benjamin Moore Impervo on the trim.  HIgh Gloss on the trim.

30 years...holds up great and everybody loves the paint colors.

Here's a good link to buy reconditioned sprayers, http://www.gleempaint.com/airspray.html great for do-it yourselfers, I buy the small ones for trim, doors and cabinets, the gun and hose would cost about the same as the complete rig if bought individually, I use it for about a year on my jobs, toss the unit when the packing goes out, because it cost the same to repair it, keep the gun and hose and order another.
