Minnesota rental

I would like to purchase a rental property in Minnesota.  Do I need a permit to rent a house in Minnesota?  Also, are there required lease agreements you a required to use in Minnesota?  Is insurance for a rental property usually more expensive than your personal homestead?  Any suggestions for a good accountant, tax preparer and lawyer for real estate investing for Minnesota?  Also, wondering if there are any investment meetings in Minneapolis or southern Minneapolis suburbs?

Thank you!

    4. For accounting/taxes I use: Hesley Shoquist & Co. I'm a real estate Attorney myself if you'd like to message me.

    5. Check out Minnesota Real Estate Investors Association, it's the biggest association in the city and meetings provide a ton of actionable information.
