How does being a landlord living in the same duplex with your tenant differ from being a landlord that doesn't share a property with a tenant? Any tips/strategies (hoping to do the duplex thing with an FHA loan)

Find someone that you are comfortable living next to. I just had tenants move into my duplex that I'm house hacking. They are the same age as I am. That being said - you are still running a business. So make sure to lay out all the rules and adhere to them!
