Vinyl Flooring in Kitchen

I will be putting down vinyl sheet flooring in a kitchen in the next couple months. Does the loose lay no glue vinyl sheet stand up to kitchen chairs being slid/scooted in & out from the table while still sitting on them? Does it tear easily? I have it in bathrooms and it seems to hold up well but chairs aren't being slid around. I have slide a washer & dryer on it of course I was careful. Tenants won't be so careful. What are your experiences?

@Jim S. if you have a decent flooring (not too thin) then yes it will hold up fine to normal use. If you get a thin cheap flooring then it will be be more subject to tear if tenants drag stuff on it.
