Suggestions for Building an ADU?

I'm looking to build a few ADUs on properly zoned properties, and looking for recommendations. I have a good contractor, so I am trying to understand what the best option is: prefab/modular, framing kit, or building it from scratch. Does anyone have experience with this, recommended vendors, etc?
