Getting discouraged :(

I need suggestions. I've shown my place to a number of applicants. I've got a small handful to apply. I had THREE people that I thought were a great fit that applied and then decided against it before lease signing. I'm coming up on a month of actively showing the unit and am not sure what to do.

Am I being TOO picky? I think it's priced right as we get a lot of showings and now we are getting qualified people, but I want that "right fit" for the building.

I feel like I've learned my lesson of just putting someone in there because we didn't want to go another month without someone.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

WHY???

You have to pull it out of them. Location, layout, rent price, length of lease, amount of deposit required, pets, etc.

One I would say is a quirky possible renter.3 pulling out is a TREND.
