Hello all. I am new to BP as well as the world of real estate and trying to educate myself. I have searched for this answer(obviously not in the right place). Does anyone know what classifies as "commercial housing property" in the state of maine? I hear the laws are much different for these types of property. Im not sure if its a square footage thing a number if units thing and/or if i have X number of units if they combine the number of units and classify me as a commercial landlord

@Gregory Cummings Properties with 5 or more units are considered commercial property and won’t qualify for the same financing as a building with 1 to 4 units.
