Class C SFR Flooring: Sheet Vinyl vs Vinyl Tile/Plank

I've got two $60k 4-bed units in Warner Robins, GA getting rehabbed for renting on the Section 8 program. They currently have sheet vinyl flooring down in the kitchens/bathrooms. My contractor quoted me to replace those, but mentioned we could put in the Lifeproof vinyl plank as well for an increased cost of about $850 per property if I wanted some serious durability.

Does anyone have an opinion on the durability of sheet vinyl (assuming the better quality one) vs LVT or LVP? I've scratch tested swatches of each and they all scratch up on the "key" test, but the LVP didn't dent or puncture like the sheet vinyl. What would you pick?

Replied

Sheet vinyl rips when tenants move the appliances around.  We are moving to the vinyl plank wherever we can, eliminating even carpet.
