Tenant left house and not responding to messages

Ava Lin
Posted

Tenant said he saw a cockroach in the house and he's phobic, so he sent an email telling me that he had left the house, didn't take the keys or the furnitures with him. I tried to email / call him but no answers for 3 days. What should I do in this case? He didn't pay the most recent rent.

Will appreciate all inputs, thanks in advance!

@Ava Lin Check your state law on abandoned property and start the eviction process as soon as you can (you probably want to talk to an eviction attorney for this.)
