Elderly tenants in building

Hey BP,

I’m doing my DD on an 8-unit in the Norwood, OH area and during the building inspection, it was found that a very elderly couple lived in one of the units and appeared quite ill. The condition of the unit was almost uninhabitable. I’m wondering what services are available in the area and how to engage one of these services during DD? Or do I have to wait until I close on the property to get these folks some help? I don’t want to overstep any boundaries, but it seems the current seller isn’t taking any action to remedy the situation.

All thoughts and input are much appreciated!

Social services would be who I called, regardless if you buy the building or not.
