Illinois networking opportunities

Hello,

I just recently started my LLC for Real Estate Investing in central Illinois with a business partner and want to network and learn from other investors as well. I was researching the Illinois REIA and was not finding too much feedback on it. All suggestions on how to further my knowledge/ network in this area are appreciated.

@Kyle Fitzpatrick

I would check out the Network tab here on Bigger Pockets and look in the Events section for local meetups in your area, as well as a quick google search for real estate investing clubs near Bloomington.

I am a new investor myself and just attended my first Chicago Creative Investing Association meeting, and got to hear @George Skidis speak about investments and his extensive knowledge of insurance regarding real estate.  It was the first organized meetup I have been to and was informative and motivating.

I know that you're not in the Chicago area, but I'm sure there are some local investors down near you who meet up at restaurants or other establishments to network and interact.

You could also post in the forums and see if there are any BP members near you, and possibly start a new meet up!

And you may have thought of this stuff already, but just wanted to throw some ideas out there! Best of luck!
