@Aidan Mulligan I currently do all my own landscaping. I only own 3 properties that are max 15 miles from each other but it allows me the opportunity to save money and 'check in' on the property itself. I always tell my tenants in advance before I come over. I hire out for snow removal however.

I think depending on how far you are away from your properties and if you are in the beginning stages and it's manageable from a time standpoint it makes sense to do it yourself.

@Aidan Mulligan I got some quotes from a company called TaskEasy. I didn’t wind up going with their providers but I used the quotes as the basis for the guys I did hire. Maybe they can help.

@Aidan Mulligan When I started in the business I did all of the lawn care myself, then when my personal live became more busy and the rental business started to grow the lawn mowing was outsourced. Now we are lucky enough to have guys on staff that do the lawn mowing for us.

Years ago when I first started, I had the tenant do it for a rent reduction. A lawyer friend of mine told me this could be all sorts of problematic if they ever got injured. So once that tenant had moved on, I hired a company to manage the lawn.
