Fix or Buy New Dryer?

Chris Campbell
Posted

I have a squeaky dryer in my rental. Fairly old. I used to live there and it was annoying. I would constantly spray WD-40 into it. Tenant is complaining. Having lived with it, I agree. So to fix it for a couple hundred dollars (that's the estimate from a neighbor whose company does such things), buy a new one, or buy a used one?

@Chris Campbell

I just found an $1,800.00 stack-able Whirlpool W/D on Craigslist for $400.00. 2 year old unit, should last another 20 years - just had to drive 30 minutes to pick it up. FB Market Place, LetGO, Craigslist are all good places to look for appliances.
