Keeping the Lawn Green
I believe it’s our tenant’s responsibility to take care of the lawn. We are currently station overseas and a property manager is taking care of business. We happen to visit the town and sneak check of our property, disappointed to see the used to be green grass is already brown. We call the attention of our property manager take care of it. The last time I checked google map, it is still brown. Shall I worry about it?

Where in the US and what type of grass? Cool season grasses will go dormant in the summer and look dead but come right back when it cools off. If it's a warm season grass and it's dead in the summer, that's probably from lack of water. Unless you have a clause in the lease that says tenants have to water the grass when there's not enough rain, good luck. Personally, in that kind of climate, I would have an automatic sprinkler system that was required to be left operational.
I don't know how you can use Google Map to see the current condition. They don't update Google Maps on a daily basis.
