Question on Eviction

Hello fellow landlords!

I'll keep it quick.  Info need assistance with facts and some insight (Michigan)

1 tenant has not paid rent

2 notice was sent of rent payment not received 

3 tenant states sent...(But we dont have it)

4 with starting the eviction process... 

5 when the tenant payment arrives will we refuse or keep payment although eviction process is underway?

seems simple, but just need some insight please
