HOA enforces rental rule but not other rules

I'm in FL and bought my house 15 years ago. It's time to move on and I'd love to rent it out to my Uncle. Unfortunately, my HOA ($100 a year style) says no new rentals until it reaches under a certain % of the homes. Very far off. This rule was not in effect when I bought but since I was living in it, I wasn't grandfathered in to allow me to rent it out. The issue I have, they don't enforce a multitude of other rules. Lawns are crazy high, trash everywhere, houses painted crazy colors. Could I raise the issue that they're being unfair in enforcing this rule to not let me rent when it's obvious they aren't enforcing other rules? I've sent them examples in the past that they would "look into." Never have. Should I being to take photos as proof? I'd really rather not sell the place, it's a perfect fit for my Uncle and he can't financially purchase a home. I'd rent it below market value and above my mortgage rate. Win Win. Damn HOA.

Any other way around this stupid HOA rule?  They told me I could incur a $1,000 per month fine if I was caught renting.

"Caught renting " key words here.

Since it is your uncle rent it to him with no written lease or have a lease that your uncle doesn't share.

Tell them that a family member will be watching maintaining your house in your absence.

Another option sell it to him with a land contract or bond for title and don't record it. Have him also sign a cancellation that you hold onto separately. Then he is buying not renting as far as they will know.
