Replacing Windows in Multifamily Property

I'm looking to update the windows in my property for all units if possible. In total, I counted approximately 30 windows that would need to get replaced, with many of them not being the same sizes. I also want them to be installed as well. A couple questions based off of this:

1. What type of windows are generally best for insulation that won't break the bank? I'm also looking to replace the trim around the windows- many of them being wood.

2. What are some reputable companies that you've worked with that have done a good job with the install? What does this process look like?

Thank you very much for your responses!

Hi Aaron,

If you're going to have workmen inside occupied units, might be a good idea to have a member of management/maintenance in the unit at all times with them (to prevent bathroom usage complaints, and to blunt theft claims from the residents) as well as to make sure the interiors are left broom clean when they finish.

A paycheck to paycheck guy coming home to find all of his beer gone, or game console missing isn't going to be a happy tenant.

Good Luck!
