Tenant screening during pandemic

I have a vacant unit and I'm hesitate on getting it occupied during the eviction moratorium. Anyone doing anything different with screening? It's unfortunate some individuals take advantage of the system.

I'm finding a of fake paystubs being submitted.  This seems to be the new trend.  The most recent was a tenant who submitted stubs for two toally different full-time jobs.  The stubs were not created by any of the national paycheck providers (would have had their name or logo).  Both stubs were formatted IDENTICALLY. Same exact font. Same shape.  Same everything!  For $40 you can buy fake paystubs and employment verifications.  I've also found the address used as an employer was actually a residential address.  Dont rely just on automated screenings.  We need to be looking at what is submitted to make sure it makes sense!
