Carpet for a rental property

Get your mind off the drink, I'm talking carpet here. I'm deciding between what type of carpet to put in the bedrooms of a duplex located in
Columbus Ohio 43205 to be exact. I'm learning towards 18oz of the finest polyester carpet. I've also been told it would be best to go with 29oz carpet which cost a bit more. This is my first rental property so I'm open to suggestions.  Thanks!!!!!

Are you sure you want to do carpet? Why not some Luxury vinyl planks? Im sure they will outlast the carpet
