Renewing The Lease Agreement.

Carmel Duffy
Posted

I am new in this business so looking for some advice.

My tenant has a yearly lease which is up next month.  Do I just have her sign the Rental Lease Extension Agreement and if so, when do I do this? Can I have her sign the new agreement early (before the lease expires)? Or do I have to wait for the date of the lease to expire?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, have her sign the agreement ahead of time.

We actually have all of our people sign new leases, not just extensions, wince we update our lease frequently with new laws, etc that are coming in to place.
