Virginia can we charge late fees

So many changes this year besides CDC but with state laws.

Only thing I am not clear about is if we can still charge late fees in all cases?

Read that we can.  Other say we can charge and let them accumulate but cant ask a tenant to pay them now.

Anyone know?
