What is an App or membership that has been indispensable to you?

Hi Everyone,

I see these different apps and memberships to help look for homes, evaluate properties but I am too frugal to blow the money. Anyone out there have found an app or two or website that without it you wouldn't have made the money or found the investment? Would you mind sharing which ones you love even though they cost money? I am considering rentometer, deal check and foreclosure.com but I don't want to just throw money down the drain. Thanks!

There is nothing I can't do with excel that I need. Look for free templates to get you going.

@John Underwood Thanks John, I guess I am going to have to learn the ins and outs of Excel to keep things organized, for ease of filing taxes. Do you use any apps that assist you in evaluating properties at all? I am seeing apps and trying the free version but as off yet don't want to commit the money? For example Deal Check, I like it, I don't completely understand it all yet and I am just using the free version. so far all the properties I am looking at  in A and B neighborhoods won't show a cash flow on it, When I do my calculation I show a small cashflow.

Microsoft excel. Very powerful and very flexible.  You can find templates to download to do almost anything and then customize them for your needs.

I track everything about my real estate portfolio with excel.
