Flooring for New Rental - Polished Concrete?

We just purchased a duplex and need to replace the floor in one of the units. I've lived in several different rental units with a variety of different floors. My favorite had been the apartment with polished concrete floors. I initially thought I would hate it, but I ended up absolutely loving it. Although I loved them I know that might not be the overall response.

Anyone have experience with concrete floors?

I see very mixed reviews with concrete finishes in my market.  when it is in good shape I don't think it hinders any renters, but it's also not uncommon to see them get banged up, cracked, and otherwise rundown and then they look pretty raw and unappealing.

I'd say if you're able to keep it looking good over the long haul it could be a solid option.  Otherwise a good looking Vinyl Plank would be my go-to.
