Best Apps to Collect Rent?

What are the best apps to collect rent? Going to be having our first rental soon and trying to get all of the processes in place. Thanks in advance!

I have people.all.over town that collect my rent for free and give the tenant a receipt.

They are tellers at my local bank. Gets put directly into my business checking account.

I also take Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, ACH. All free to use. Zelle is the best as the transfer is immediate into my account.

Go to google and search for "free Landlord software" to find a slew of options: rentredi, tenantcloud, innago, and more. Try a couple out, settle on the one that works best for you. Understand that you will never, ever find "perfect" software and even the expensive systems have short-comings.

I started out that way, then they wanted me to fill out more when they ran out.

Now I just put the appropriate account number in the lease. Works great!

@John Underwood Do you give the tenants a deposit slip to make deposits at your bank?

If you are only looking to collect rent from on unit plenty of free or cheap ways to do it like zelle, cash app, venmo, they can deposit it at the bank, an ACH, mail you a check and you can deposit it on your phone using your banks app etc.  Just remember you are now on the business side not the consumer side.  Nice when you are a consumer and have your bank pull back money like on zelle, business always looses.  You are now the business.  So anything outside of cash, money order etc....give it a few days to make sure it doesn't bounce bounce bounce.
