Refrigerator water dispenser went out...
...should i fix? I feel that this component is a liability to have in a fridge IN a rental (single family in an intact, transitional neighbourhood). I am thinking that I'll see about fixing if it's reasonable, but if not just keep the fridge as is. Once the whole thing tanks, I would replace with a unit that doesn't have a water dispenser.
Thoughts??

I don't know what renters in your A/B/C/D areas look for, but if I tried to rent an A unit with a standard fridge, I'd get pushback.
I put fridges with water/ice in the door in B units. I once had a tenant tell me they were so happy to see that when they were touring the unit.
I fully believe that if you spend a few extra dollars on perks and upgrades, the unit will rent faster.
