New to STR and wanting help

I am looking at purchasing my first STR but would like some helpful hints......

I have a full time W2 career that pays very well. The plan is for my wife to manage our STR. What financing have you guys found works best and how does it work? Would it be best to put the property in my name or in the name of an LLC? What other tips can you provide to help us get this started?

Conventional financing.

No need for LLC unless you plan on not taking care of your property.
