STR revenue/expense tracking software?

Question

What software is everyone using to track their revenue/expenses and to easily determine KPI's? I'm currently using Stessa but I don't love it. Considering quickbooks instead.

If you're just getting started, try out WAVE. It's free and works well. Once you get to be big-time, you will probably want to step up to QB or similar.

#1 rule of business - don't spend any money you don't have to spend. There are always newbies coming on here and wanting to spend hundreds of dollars a month on Programs and Apps. Keep it simple, and cheap...

I personally used Wave when smaller, but we use Quickbooks now.  QB online is like $30 a month.  Our bookkeeper also pulls reports from Streamline PMS that we use, but again when we were smaller Excel worked just fine.

Expensify and Stessa.

Stessa will let you easy open a bunch of bank accounts now and do cash management directly.  And with 3.37% APY on a checking account too, which is pretty sweet.  And 1.10% rewards on the debit cards that of course tracks easily.

I was just checking out Baselane.  Haven't used it yet.  But similar to Stessa where it has the banks accounts and all the automatic reporting stuff.  Prettier interface than Stessa and lower APY on the bank account.

@Kevin Escobar like others mentioned, I am also just using excel, but I only have one rental at the moment. I think if I were to get up to three rentals I would start using Quickbooks. I have been using quickbooks for some other business for years and it is a proven platform.

I've been very happy with Stessa. Allows you to start with the basic stuff and link accounts to automatically integrate, but also has more advanced functions for when you want to grow or get more in depth.
