Managing Booking Calanders on Mutiple Platforms

I'm curious how others manage their booking calendars when booking on multiple platforms.  I.E. If I have a booking on Airbnb, how to I block that out in VRBO for those dates?  Also, if you get a booking, someone could book the same dates on another site before you block those dates.  Seems very likely since you can't monitor your bookings 24/7, such as, overnight, while driving ect. 

Appreciate ideas.

You can sync Airbnb with Vrbo with no extra software. If you Google it you can find simple instructions.
