Rehab vs turn-key rental property

Raushanah Glinton
Posted

I am looking to purchase my first long-term rental property. There is so much content about BRRRR, rehabbing and flipping but not to much on the pros and cons of turn-key properties especially for rental properties. Does anyone have any input on what they experienced with turn-key properties?
Thanks for any information you provide.

Turn key is going to cost much more. It is the easy button and that is what most people want.

You make your money when you buy, so buy a bargain that needs some TLC.

I like buying cheap condemned properties and making them like new.
