STR Loophole Advice

Posted

We currently own 1 STR; however, we are looking to add 1 or more STRs that we will self manage with a goal of obtaining 100 hours managing the properties to qualify for the loophole. We are looking for recommendations on the number of STRs needed to accomplish this. Thanks for any advice.

It's not really a loophole, just the rules. Loophole usually means something that isn't quite kosher IMHO.

You are going to have to figure it out for yourself really. Right now I spend about 2-5 hours a week managing our STRs. You could spend more or less.
