STR Co-Hosting Beginner Looking for Advice on Getting Started (El Paso, TX)

Hello everyone!

I have been listening to the Real Estate Rookie Podcast and have heard many things about STR's and co-hosting. I am curious about this nature of the business as I build my REI business. I do live in El Paso, TX and would love to meet those investing in this area for STR's that would like co-hosting assistance. However, I am also interested in working remotely, too, as I have heard this can be accomplished. From the Florida state since that is where I have lived for 30 years and I know the Central Florida area quite well.

I do have customer service background working in high end restaurants in Orlando for 8 years (getting food shopped all the time and passing with 100%) and feel I would be an excellent asset to someones property in it becoming a successful STR. I would love to work side-by-side with someone with experience so I can gain experience of my own as I build my confidence in doing my own STR for an investor who may not have as much time running a STR.

Would truly love (and appreciate) any advice you may have to get me started on this journey.

Thank you everyone in advance for taking the time to read my post and contributing to this forum. I know you are all very busy and I appreciate everyones time!

I would work for a PM to get experience.

Right now you are the licensed, insured, have  o experience and if you work remotely off little in the way of hands on at a property.

Honestly someone could hire a Virtual Assistant from a other country.

I would try and build your resume by working for a company for now.
