Looking For A Mountain Town for STR

We have a beach STR & we've decided we'd like our next property to be in the mountains. Are there mountain towns where sub-600k homes cashflow? We're willing to BRRR so numbers will work & are willing to pay more for multi-cabin and/or super unique properties.

We checked out Blue Ridge, GA this week & loved the area but the numbers don’t seem to work at these rates.  We will self-manage from a distance.

Thanks!

I don't thinknitbis so much about a specific area as it is a good price on a specific property that has views and amenities that people want.

I would set up search for popular mountain tourist locations and be patient till the right property comes along and be ready to pounce.

You can put a property under contract to lock it up and then schedule a viewing and make a decision during the due diligence time.
