Selling my STR

Tom E.
Posted

I have a recently launched STR and it is just more than I want to manage from a distance/or manage my PM. My W2 job is quite busy and I'm wanting to sell to free up capital to move my family. This is a newly renovated property (SFH, 3bd/2ba) in the Columbia River Gorge. Washington side.

Im wondering how I'd go about finding a buyer interested in a furnished turnkey STR? Launched a few months ago so its ready for busy season this summer! Lots of work, sad to see it go, but life pulling me in another direction.

Hey @Tom E., just an FYI, don't let anyone talk you into overpricing the place.

Too many people think that a STR is worth more than the same place that isn't.

I took the time to chat with about 10 lenders of all types and they all said the same thing. It is worth what the comps say it is worth.

Now you can work something out about the furnishings etc but the house itself is simply, just a house.

Good luck with the sale!
