Pet fee bypassing

Raghav Kapur
Posted

Hey all, there's a guest in our cabin but they've brought two dogs with them (I can see that through the outdoor camera, and did not disclose that while they booked and thus bypassed the pet fee.

How have you all handled this before (e.g., letting it slide/bringing it up later)? Want to just solicit input as I figure how to address this. Thank you!

I don't want to say, hey I was stalking you on my cameras and I see you have dogs you didn't pay the pet fee for.

So now I ask them to confirm the amount of people and if any pets are coming.

This puts them on the spot and I can say I can send the pet fee if you like before their stay.

This has fixed any problems with pets and I don't risk getting a bad review because I said I was watching them on the camera.
