Your Own Booking Platform Choices

April Birdsong
Posted

I am closing on Cabin in Smokey's  Whooohoooo. I am excited.  I want to start off capturing my guests' contact information and have an established online booking platform.  I know hospitable allows you to do this.  Can others share what they do for this? Pros and cons you may have run into.  I know listening to one of Dave Green's podcasts, there is a way to capture the guests information when they sign in to your WiFi but I am not sure which system that is.

As always, thanks so much for the shared experience.

A direct booking site is neat, but you are only going to get a small fraction of reservations from it, if any at all. I would spend quality time making sure you have a very good listing on VRBO and Airbnb.  Those platforms are going to be THE key to your success.
