Gatlinburg Tennessee fires

Just wondering who here has vacation rentals in the Gatlinburg area. Wondering ho long this will effect tourism in the area. I hate to see all the videos on t.v.. My family vacations there regularly and do a lot of long weekends there. Beautiful area and so many activities. I know people have insurance but it's going to take time for the trees to grow back. Praying for that community that dep nfs so much on the tourism.

Kevin,

All the major tourist areas survived (Dollywood, Ober, downtown, the aquarium). We were blessed and our cabin was unscathed but a short distance away a complete loss. I've already been encouraged. We had someone reach out to try to book with us 2 weeks from now because there location was destroyed and they still wanted to come down!!! The people are strong and it's still the most visited national park in the country. We are extremely positive!!!

Jeff
