I can set minimum stays on the weekends on Airbnb, but I was not able to find that same feature on VRBO. I has the option for seasonal settings or holidays.

how are you setting weekend stays to 2 days for the year on VRBO/Homeaway sites?

    @Aaron T.

    In my opinion this is much easier to do on VRBO than AirBNB. I still struggle on AirBNB when I have to do this and it is much more cumbersome.

    For VRBO:

    Edit listing

    Rates

    For every Rate Period you can set a weekday price, weekly price, monthly price and minimum day stay.

    It is much easier to set rates and min days on one screen. I wish AirBNB was as user friendly as VRBO.

    I don't go into AirBNB as often because it isn't as intuitive and maybe thats one reason why I'm not as comfortable using it since I get frustrated when I try and find items that are buried.

    I get most of my bookings and I get higher per night prices on VRBO. Another reason I don't go on AirBNB as much. I try and discount some night just to get the couple bookings I have gotten via AirBNB.

    Homeaway is also constantly rolling out new improvements to the website and app.

    They now have pricing tools and other analytic that show competitors pricing with graphs and charts.

    They also show if someone did an inquiry and booked another property and you can see what the other property is to see the competition. For me it usually turns out to be another state. So they were window shopping for a vacation destination.

    It also lets me know if someone inquired and hasn't booked another property so you can reach out to them.

    AirBNB has AIRDNA or something like that that you have to pay for, but this data is free on VRBO.
