Financing options for STR

I am new to real estate investing so appreciate any guidance on this topic. I am looking at investing in my first STR. I'd like to finance the property, but currently we are tapped out in terms of conventional loans. I have been looking at asset-based financing. Is that something folks here utilize to fund their short term rentals? If so, any advise on firms or companies to work with that you have experience with.
