Hello, I'm newbie and doesn't own any properties. Want to start my Real Estate Investment journey. Want to invest in Single Family rental  home with a goal of Buy and Hold. I know, i have to do my own research across the all states to find the properties. But can you guys suggest any Cities where i can start my research.

Investment : Max Home Price I can buy as of now is 200K.

@John Lester

Columbus, Ohio is a great market. You should be able to find a duplex in a C+/C neighborhood for that price or a single family in a B/B- neighborhood.
