New Investor in Jersey
Hello Everyone!!
My name is Ken.
I am tax lawyer currently working for a Big Four firm. I hold a Master of Laws degree from Georgetown Law School.
I recently moved to Jersey City from London for my new job, and I am quite excited to be back in the US.
Although I love my work very much, I have always been interested in real estate investing and have been looking to build my own portfolio for some time. As a long-time listener of the BiggerPockets podcast, I appreciate the valuable insights and practical advice that the platform provides. I believe that BiggerPockets is an excellent community for like-minded individuals, and I am looking forward to formally introducing myself and connecting with fellow real estate enthusiasts.
In addition, I would appreciate any guidance on active real estate associations in or around Jersey City. I would love to attend local events and network with other real estate investors in the area.

Start practicing with analyzing some rentals. Deals are tough to come by right now so you want to be good at analyzing the deals so you're ready to go when they come up.
