Heard great things about this site and hope to expand my knowledge in real estate. Took a job to the DC area from Florida, so hopefully will be able to invest in an area that foreign but hopefully presents a lot of good opportunities to expand portfolio. But mostly want to learn and become more proficient in investing to establish long term success.

Hi Rufus, welcome! I recently moved to the DC Metro from Orlando myself. I totally understand the big change. Were you doing any investing in FL? What is your niche? Right now I am wholesaling, but will begin to start redeveloping once I close on my primary residence.
