I originally joined biggerpockets in 2010, I heard of the site ironically enough after attending a guru seminar in which I almost spent 25K. I never took advantage of the great information the site had to offer until recently. I have been listening to the podcasts (which are Awesome) as well as reading several books. I'm hoping to connect with people in the Jacksonville and Saint Augustine areas of Florida. My interests are Buy and Hold.

@DonnaGross welcome! I am new here as well and @paultimmons is spot on regarding his suggestions. Ironically, I was just sitting here talking with my fiancé, seeing her mind at ease that BP is NOT a guru website when you posted about your seminar. OUCH! Good luck in Florida!
